  Moon Rise Pendant

Try your hand at wire weaving. Wire weaving is just looping thin wire around a heavy wire frame in a pattern. What changes is how many times you loop the thin weaving wire around one base wire before looping it onto another base wire. Every pattern has a different look and many are used to weave particular shapes. Previous experience with wire is helpful. Materials list.

     
 

To the Moon and Back

Learn to design and solder your own constellation above or around your moon. You can make this as a pendant or ring. You will be reticulating your fine silver to get a beautiful texture. No two pieces will look alike. Add in some stone setting, sweat soldering and granulation to finish your ring or pendant. Soldering Basics and stone setting is required. Materials list.

Inspired from the same named city in New Mexico where you see vibrant colored buildings to subtle earth tones. We will cover designing your own patterns or mix and match to make it your own. This is great for those just out of "Soldering Basics" or for those already experienced in soldering to make something fun while learning some fun techniques at the same time. It has been said, “Right-angle weave is so-named because of the way the beads lie at right angles to one another. It is a very versatile weave and you can use any types or sizes of beads, as well as combinations of different size beads”.
