ACS Kiln Firing - SOLD OUT

Learn the essentials of firing ACS in a Paragon SC2, including programming, kiln furniture, and safety. We will make pieces, load, then fire them in class.
Common techniques will be demonstrated such as supporting pieces with fiber blanket, using vermiculite,
loading a hot kiln, annealing glass, and working with cork clay. Pre-requisite: Intro to ACS and 6-hours of ACS work.

Show It Off with Attitude

This necklace is made on a Japanese braiding table called a marudai, and it will only take a few hours to braid. You will learn how to set up the marudai and how to braid. Learn tips and nuances that will result in a perfect braid. Also, learn to wire wrap and scroll a special piece of dichroic glass to compliment your necklace. All skill levels welcome. |

Wire Jig & Peg 101

Have you been meaning to learn how to use the WigJig but haven't gotten around to it? This is the perfect opportunity for you. Learn how to set up a WigJig and work with various pegs in this introductory class. You'll be making identical wire connectors and linking them with your choice of beads to create this stylish bracelet. All skill levels welcome. Good hand strength is helpful. |

Sweet Blossoms

This class will cover the "loop technique" in french beaded flowers. With this technique, you will learn to make the flower into a component to use as a
bead finding. Lananh will share many tips and tricks in this class. You will also learn how to make a wire wrapped loop to link beads and chains together. Project can be finished in class. All skill levels welcome. |
